The UK Cruiser is the new 4-line powerkite of Urban Kites. The kite has the principle of a traditional foil kite, but without the airchambers. This 4-line powerkite delivers excellent performance and is made of high quality materials. By the application of flexible sticks in the nose (Leading Edge) it will keep the pressure optimal. The UK Cruiser remains always in shape that’s why this kite has great flight characteristics. The bridle is reduced where necessary, The UK Cruiser comes close to an intermediate kite, but is as easy to handle as a beginner kite. The kite performs optimal in heigh wind conditions. The UK Cruiser is crash resistant. This Urban 4-line powerkite is very fast, light and maneuverable. These kites have been tested for various purposes, whether you are going landboarding, buggy-kiting, street-kiting or just funkiten, it's all possible! The kite is made of 38 grams cloth, the ribs are of 60 grams cloth and the bridle is of Dyneema, all loops are sewed.
Control: Quad Handles
The 4-line UK Cruiser powerkite can be controlled with the included Quad handles. The kite lines are the link between the pilot and the kite. These lines are wound on a winder, the lines on top of the winder are the power lines and should be attached to the top of the quad handles, with a lark's head knot. The other end of the lines is attached to the main bridle of the UK Cruiser. The thinner lines are the brake lines and are attached to the bottom of the quad handles with a lark's head knot, the other end of the line is attached to brake bridle of the UK Cruiser kite. By combining pulling and tilting, the UK Cruiser is easy to control and flies it in all desired directions. If the Uk Cruiser is crashed and in a wrong position, you can start the kite backwards. To do this, pull the brake lines.
